The production process of quartz glass is as follows:

Five, chopping furnace, selection: split clay furnace, remove lump rough embryo and select it.
Six, check, test, integer: check or test each performance item by item to ensure the fine quality of quartz glass.
Seven, cut off, chamfering (trimming): cut the lump of rough embryos into small blocks and chamfering according to their use and specifications.
Eight, the embryo molding: after the rough embryo is heated and softened, the embryo is formed according to the specifications of the engineering drawing. However, it is necessary to make or prepare various moulds, tools and auxiliary materials in advance.
Nine, burning blunt: anneal passivation, eliminate internal stress.
Ten, test and check: test the optical properties and appearance of the embryo. The finished product of optical quartz glass will become the hair of the downstream industry (optical component manufacturing plant), and it will continue to be lapped and become an optical component.
The gas (gas) produced from the raw material at the time of melting will remain in the glass, like a foam, as a bubble. The traces of stirring will also remain in the interior of the glass, like stripes, called veins.

The refractive index is 1.523, the Abbe number is 58.7, the transmittance is 91%, and it can absorb ultraviolet below 330nm. With good mechanical and chemical stability, it is a white high quality lens which is widely used to absorb ultraviolet light at home and abroad.
